Basierend auf den Quad-Core Intel® Xeon® CPUs der Baureihe 7400 (Dunnington) mit bis zu 6 Cores mit max. 2,66 GHz sowie dem 7300 (Tigerton) mit 4 Cores mit bis zu 2,93 GHz bietet DELTA den 4-Sockel Hochleistungsserver D40x-M2 an, der über hervorragende Skalierbarkeit und über ein extrem gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis verfügt. Die 4-Sockel Server werden mit 4 Porzessoren der Baureihe 7400 bzw. 7300 angeboten und können in der 2 HE Version auf 192 GB und in der 4 HE Version auf 256 GB Speicher ausgebaut werden. Der 7300 Chipsatz verfügt über einen Snoop Filter mit 64 MB,

Die Server zeichnen sich durch ein effizientes, kostengünstiges und servicefreundliches Design aus, bei dem alle Komponenten auf einem Motherboard untergebracht sind. Lüfter und Netzteile sind redundant ausgelegt und können während des Betriebes getauscht werden. Die 4 Sockel Server sind hervorragend für HPC- und Datenbankanwendungen geeignet, bei denen eine hohe Speicher Bandbreite und mehr als 8 Cores in einer SMP Umgebung gefordert sind.
